Notes

Zoom

Zoom is the online video conference service that I use to teach online classes.

(You can download here for free if you haven't already got it - Zoom).

It's very easy to access... simply click on the meeting link that I will send out a few days prior to the class and you will automatically be directed to the online class.

Use of yoga equipment for online classes

You will definitely need your own sticky yoga mat.

I always email out a list of 'go to' equipment prior to the class but as a beginner, you are unlikely to have yoga equipment so regular household equipment can always be used. Dining chairs, folded towels, weighty books and dressing gown belts can all be used to make great yoga props!

Longer term, I recommend investing in your own yoga props. As a minimum 5 yoga foam pads, a yoga belt and a blanket are neccessary. Cork yoga bricks, a second blanket and a bolster are secondary items that are nice to have

Camera set-up for online classes

Position your camera where you can see me but position your camera where I can see you too.

I need to be able to see your full height, from head to toe when you are standing upright in front of the camera.
